The hair celebrities wear......in secret!

Wearing:

Y
our own hair needs to be only 3" long to brush over the gap in your SimiWeave™. And you only have to bring out a tiny bit of it at the front (about the size of two fingers) so you can get away with murder when compared to existing products! If the colour or texture of your hair does not match that of your SimiWeave™ 100%, don't worry. Just use a hair mascara to achieve temporary colour or highlights, or use a ceramic hair straightener (GHD) or tongs to press that tiny bit of hair.

We are here to help: instructions (including diagrams and measurements) are included with each SimiWeave™, but below is a quick guide and some step-by-step photos.

Have you seen our video on how to wear the SimiWeave™? Watch it here, now! Also watch Simi Belo's response to Chris Rock's 'Good Hair' film (Sept 2009).

(1) The gap in  the SimiWeave™ is ‘U’ shaped, with hair and stitching on three sides but open at the front.

(2) To wear the SimiWeave™, you need to condense @90% of your own real hair at the back of the head, typically using gel, hair pins, hair clips, corn rows, or mini French braids. Leave the remaining @10% loose at the front of your head, for brushing over the SimiWeave™.

3) Your loose hair forms a ‘U’ shaped patch in the left, centre or right side of your hairline, matching the location of the gap of the SimiWeave you will be wearing.

(4) Clip in your SimiWeave. At first, your loose hair will jut out of the gap at the front.

5) Sharply part your loose hair to reveal your real scalp and roots, and then brush it down over the SimiWeave™ to conceal the gap. The result is a seamless blend of your own hair and the SimiWeave™.
